Kwa-Tuli
PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Botswana

Kwa-Tuli lies in the heart of Northern Tuli block, part of the greater Limpopo-Shashe Transfrontier Park – a remote, private and unspoiled African reserve offering incredible wildlife and wilderness experiences.

Guests may set their own pace with game drives in open 4 X 4 vehicles, and guided walking safaris. The wildlife at Kwa-Tuli is fascinating. Kudu and Eland and all the plains game dot the valley while bushbuck and waterbuck feed on the island. Wildebeest, giraffe and zebra visit the many waterholes. Hides give guests the opportunity to observe and photograph animals close up in their natural environment without disturbance.

The area is renowned for the largest, single population of elephant on privately owned land in Africa. Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and all the major predators can be seen in this region.

The reserves southern boundary is the great Limpopo River. Hippo and Crocodiles concentrate in the deeper pools while leopard hunts the baboons on the forested islands.

Nocturnal animals such as Hyena, Porcupine, Aardvark, Civet, Genet and Bush baby can be observed on the night drives.

In addition to exploring the islands and majestic kopjes on foot, you can enjoy excellent birding. Pels Fishing Owl, Ground Hornbill, Double Banded Courser are some of the 360 species of birds to be seen.

Sundowners can be taken on numerous spots on top of granite kopjes only a short walk from the vehicles. What more spectacular than the sun setting over the African Landscape.

Historic and archeological sites abound, unchanged since the days of early explorers such as Selous, Kipling and Cecil John Rhodes.

The call of the Fish Eagle by day and Pets Fishing Owl at night sets the mood for this wild African experience
